Filming session 2 forest shoot

Today was our second day of recording for our music video, we successfully completed our forest shoot and managed to film some extra scenes as well as take pictures we will be using in our music video. We began filming at 2:00 and finished at around 3:30, being able to get a variety of shots and scenery.

First day of shooting

Today was our first day of shooting for our music video, we grouped up early and managed to use the studio for a little extra time. We borrowed two cameras with tripods to use, this was so that shooting would be less time consuming as we used one of the cameras as the primary camera and the other to shoot at different angles and pictures that we will be using. The shoot session was successful and we have planned to go to one of our location choices next week which we will be discussing about when we next meet up.

In todays team meeting, we catched up on everything like the storyboard and made sure we are working at the same pace and up to date. We then discussed what are our next steps are and decided on our first shooting, which will be in the studio on wednesday which we have booked for.

In today's lesson Shivam, one of our team members was not available, therefore we were unable to have a proper complete team meeting, however we did get lots of progress on the storyboard and we managed to get permission for the use of the music and have asked permission for the use of locations.

Team Meeting 03/10/2016 Project "SLF"

In today's lesson we were given revised information about our original music video which was too inappropriate to use for our assignment, therefore we needed to change the song so that it was fit and suitable for our coursework as well as something that was of a similar genre so we wouldn't need to change our previous work. The new song that we have chosen was Memories by Leonell Cassio featuring Anne Lan and remixed by Goblins From Mars.

Team roles during this project

Usman - I will be operating the camera mostly ensuring our actor is in shot and that we are matching our shots as best as we can to the story bored, I will also be doing a majority of the editing once all our filing is done.

Hasan - Will be managing time as well as making sure everyone is available for shooting dates in addition to attempting to getting permission to film at our chosen locations. Will also be operating the [secondary] camera (when available) and ensuring we have enough shots to use.

Shivam -  Will be looking after equipment and ensuring that it is all returned without any damage, in additon he will also be in contact with our actor relaying dates of availability to us, so that we are able to plan our shooting dates more effectively, he will also be in charge of costume.
